His Legacy in Education
Upon college graduation, Josh focused on the possibility of teaching. His first role as a teacher began at Queens Intermediate. For ten years, Josh inspired PISD students to excel; in their studies and in life. He was a teacher that pushed his students to be their best. There are former students today, that have incredible stories of Josh Paul changing their perspective of what is possible, and inevitably their path.
After graduating with his master’s degree, Josh Paul set his sights on administrative roles in education. In the summer of 2017, he was so excited to obtain an Assistant Principal role at Lanier Middle School in the Brazosport Independent School District. This is what he had dreamed of for so long! In the time he had at Lanier, Josh inspired his colleagues and students to seize the day, every day. His legacy lives on, as some of the programs he helped develop, in his short time there, are still active today!
